An MoU signs between SFA and K.U.

Director General Sindh Food Authority Agha Fakhar Hussain has said that SFA is closely working with all other stake holders to improve Food Quality in the province. This he said while signing an MoU with Food Science and Technology Department of Karachi University.

This MoU was singed between Sindh Food Authority and Food Science and Technology Department of Karachi University to work together to improve Food Quality and to give access to SFA officials to get food samples checked in Food laboratory of Karachi University.
On this occasion Director Technical SFA Ahmed Ali, and head of the department of Food science and technology of Karachi University Dr. Shahina Naz, Provincial Manager Nutrition International Moin Qureshi and others officers were also present.

Through this MoU officials of SFA would be able to have access to the Food laboratory of Karachi University.

It is to mention here that Equipment's for the Lab were given to SFA by Nutrition International and SFA has handed over to Food Science and Technology Department D.G. SFA Agha Fakhar Hussain expressed his hope that the proposed lab would be State of Art and its establishment would help SFA to ensure better Food Quality.

He said that in first phase, the laboratory was going to established in Karachi and in next phase, such labs would be established in other Universities of the province.

D.G. SFA also thanked Nutrition International and Administration of Food science and Technology department of K.U. in cooperating with Sindh Food Authority.

On this occasion Dr.Shahina Naz, Moin Qureshi and Ahmed Ali also expressed their views.
