Team Korangi Conducts Extensive Industrial Inspections, Discovers Major Safety and Compliance Violations
Led by Khadija Khan, Incharge of the Korangi region, Team Korangi recently conducted a thorough inspection of various industries to assess safety and compliance with regulatory standards. Accompanied by Field Safety Officers (FSOs) Kiran Asghar and Ramza Ansari, the team identified numerous critical violations that raised concerns about worker safety and public health.
Key issues discovered during the inspections included product mislabeling, the presence of expired products, rodent infestations, poor hygiene standards, a lack of personal protective equipment (PPE), absence of medical provisions, and rusted equipment. These findings highlighted a severe lapse in safety and operational protocols across several industries.
Due to these serious violations, a total penalty of 1,000,000 was imposed on the offending industries. The inspection team emphasized the importance of adhering to safety regulations to protect both employees and consumers and urged industry leaders to take immediate corrective actions.
