Established under the SFA Act of 2016, the Sindh Food Authority (SFA) is committed to
safeguarding public health by ensuring the food consumed across Sindh is safe, hygienic, and
nutritious. Our mission is to enforce stringent food safety standards while promoting access to
healthy, high-quality food. Since our inception in 2018, we have expanded operations from Karachi
and Larkana Divisions to Hyderabad (2020), Mirpurkhas (2021), Sukkur and Benazirabad (2023),
continuously enhancing food safety across the province.
To date, 100 pivotal decisions have been made across nine Board meetings, driving our mandate
to protect the health and well-being of Sindh’s citizens.
